Polytech Software collaborated with Vision Care Direct for over eight years developing and maintaining a digital platform connecting eye doctors, patients, and insurance brokers. The system facilitates secure access to insurance information, prescriptions, and specialist details while streamlining appointment scheduling and payments.
Project Description
We have been cooperating with Vision Care Direct for over eight years. During this time, we have been developing, maintaining, and automating back-office operations for their digital platform.
The visual care plans digital platform brings together eye doctors, their patients, and insurance brokers giving them secure access to the information on types of insurance, prescriptions, specialists, etc.
The platform provides quick and efficient services to users, optimizes testing and diagnostic processes, enables patient assessment, facilitates the selection of a doctor as well as helps with making appointments and payments minimizing the cost of treatment at the expense of the selected plan.
Participating in the project, we were responsible for developing and supporting the platform modules. In particular, we created data entry forms and custom reports as well as optimized the program code. The customer set goals, accepted completed tasks and did code reviews.
Result
To ensure quick and high-quality results, our developers took part in the discussions of the approaches to the implementation of the set goals. They also assisted in the migration of the parts of the code.
During our cooperation, we have significantly expanded the platform capabilities, which led to an increase in the number of clients subscribed to this service.
